A little curiosity & a lot of creating
Big ideas start with a little curiosity. Our classes and clubs for kids ages 8–12 bring some of the most unexpected creative adventures in town. We dream up projects that encourage expression, learning and thinking outside the box. From drawing, painting and crochet to STEM challenges and creative reuse. Kids explore surprising materials, try new techniques, collaborate and bring their own ideas to life with plenty of seasonal fun along the way.
Our clubs make room for other kinds of curiosity, too. From thinking a few moves ahead in chess to sharing stories in our kids’ book club coming in the new year, there’s space to discover new interests, build confidence and connect with friends.
For ages 8–12
Find your afterschool favourite
Explore drawing, painting, collage and more through projects that build skills and encourage self-expression. Each week brings a fresh opportunity to try something new, develop ideas and create with confidence.
Monday Afterschool Art Club
From holding a hook to making those first stitches, we’ll guide kids through the basics at a comfortable pace. Build practical skills, try colourful projects and discover the satisfaction of making something stitch by stitch.
Thursday Learn to Crochet
Make your next move! Learn the game, practise strategies and enjoy friendly matches in a welcoming space. A chance to build problem-solving skills, connect with other kids and have fun around the chessboard.
Wednesday Chess Club
Explore inventive projects that mix art, STEM and recycled materials through building, experimenting and hands-on making. Expect creative challenges, collaboration and plenty of seasonal fun.
Friday Afterschool Makers
Something special on the calendar
A night for them, a little free time for you! Kids’ Night Out gives kids ages 8–12 a chance to create, laugh and spend time with friends. Each themed evening brings unique hands-on projects, playful activities and plenty of imagination, with a drink and themed snack included. Kids Night Out
School’s out, creativity’s in! Join us for holiday day camps and festive celebrations filled with original projects, unexpected materials and plenty of imagination. From favourite holiday characters to handmade decorations and tiny worlds, there’s something new to explore, make and bring home. For kids ages 8–12, all skill levels welcome and tools, materials and supplies included.

A day off school, a day full of possibilities! Our PA day programs give kids ages 8–12 time to imagine, experiment and make something uniquely their own.
